API History

The Academic Performance Index (API) rates a school based on the results of the California Standards Test Assessments.  The API system has been in place since 2000 and the 2013 API uses the results of the 2012-13 CST results.  With the implementation of Common Core Standards, the API measurement has been suspended for 2 years.  Schools in California will not receive an API score in 2014 or 2015.  In 2016, a new measurement system will be published for schools. This measurement is still being created by the State Department of Education.  When we have more information on what the new school measurements will look like, we will publish it here.

In 2000-2001, Gladstone received its first API score of 774.  Since that time, we have grown more than 130 points.

The 2012-13 API score for Gladstone is 911.

This ranks us among the highest performing schools in the State of California.  Congratulations to the STUDENTS, PARENTS, and STAFF of Gladstone on this amazing accomplishment.
